Team

Incubation Press employs a team-approach when working with authors. Depending on what you need, you’ll often have two or three of us working together on your book. So introductions are in order.

Linden Gross – Editorial & Project Management/Oversight

A two-time New York Times bestselling ghostwriter and an editor and writing coach to other bestselling writers, Linden has written, collaborated on or ghost written nine books, including the first book ever written about the stalking of ordinary people. The former travel editor for the Ladies’ Home Journal (part of her associate editor position), special features editor for the Los Angeles Times Magazine and long-time national magazine freelancer draws on her background in writing, editing and teaching when working with writers. She started Incubation Press when her writing coach clients needed an option that would work with their budgets while allowing them to creatively participate in the self-publishing process.

Lieve Maas – Design & Distribution

A graphic designer with two decades of experience, Lieve specializes in book design and brand identity. She holds two masters degrees–one in visual arts from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium Master and another in education from University of Amsterdam (teaching art and art history). She considers herself a visual storyteller who loves how thoughtful design can create an emotional experience. “Good art is unforgettable,” she says. That’s her goal when designing your book or creating your author brand identity.

Scott Burns – Website Development & Promotion

As a kid, Scott was fascinated by technology along with taking things apart (and sometimes even putting them back together again). He also always knew he wanted to be in business for himself. As a result he founded a home theater company in Bend, Oregon specializing in building, programming and installing $30,000 to $300,000 systems in luxury homes. Already a lifelong learner of business and marketing, he built the company into over a million dollar-a-year corporation before selling it in 2008 to focus on technology consulting and digital marketing. Over the past decade, he has supported, tutored, and coached over 600 clients needing tech help, and developed several dozen websites.
